BlueZone Access Server Overview

BlueZone Access Server is a server-based terminal emulation solution providing web browser access to IBM Mainframe (TN3270), IBM iSeries (TN5250), UNIX/DEC (VT), and FTP systems. Its three-tier architecture and management interface combine to create an easily managed, fault-tolerant, state-of-the-art, remote access solution.

Secure, scalable browser emulation with optimal performance

BlueZone Access Server is a three-tier, Web-to-host access solution which provides secure, browser-based and mobile terminal emulation, for IBM Mainframes (TN3270 and TN3270E), iSeries (TN5250 and TN5250E) and VT100 terminal emulation using thin clients or pure HTML.

Users can easily access host applications by downloading small footprint clients. These clients are feature-rich and capable of communicating over a persistent (TCP/IP) or non-persistent (HTTP or HTTPS) connection.

Browser Emulation Security

In addition to host authentication, BlueZone Access Server gives you highly reliable multi-layered features. It incorporates synchronized authentication with Microsoft’s Active Directory (ADS), Windows Domains and RSA SecurID. You can also utilize a built in 128-bit SSL encryption, IP tagging and user-specific LU/Device assignment.

Centralized Management

BlueZone Access Server includes a sophisticated but easy to use management interface that allows granular control over user authentication, configuration, resource allocation and access.

Optimum Performance

It is highly scalable with built-in Session Load Balancing (SLB) and FailOver Services (FOS). BlueZone Access Servers can be deployed either as a single server or in a clustered model to ensure robustness, scalability and high availability.
