How it Works

How Web-to-Host Security Works

When using BlueZone Security® Server:

  1. A user establishes an SSL connection to the BlueZone Security Server.
  2. BlueZone Security Server authenticates the user.
  3. Then it establishes a clear text connection to the host or FTP server and transfers data from the secure connection to the clear text connection. Although if desired, the connection between the Security Server and the host may be encrypted as well.
  4. The connection between the user and BlueZone Security Server is encrypted with SSL, protecting data stream privacy, integrity and access.
