How it Works

How Web-to-Host Works

The BlueZone Access Server accommodates back-end host connections over SNA, APPC and TCP/IP. It is highly scalable with built-in Session Load Balancing (SLB) and FailOver Services (FOS). BlueZone Access servers can be deployed either as a single server or in a clustered model to ensure robustness, scalability and high availability.

The SLB service balances session loads among servers in a BlueZone Access cluster, while the failover service detects and isolates a disabled server, and routes new connections to other servers in the cluster. A disabled server automatically rejoins the cluster upon recovery.

The SLB and FOS ensure the highest degree of resource availability and optimum performance for mission critical applications.
